SLOKAM:-31 (LAST)- Guru charan  ambuja   nirbhara  bhaktah Samsara  adacirad  bhava  Muktah Sendriya  manasa  niyamad  evam Draksyasi  nija  hrdayastham  Devam. O Devotee of  the lotus-feet of the teacher! May you become liberated  soon from the samsara through the discipline of the sense-organs and the mind. You will come to experience(behold) the Lord that dwells in your own heart.

The control  of all activities ( of life's manifestations in you ),  the sense-withdrawal   ( from their respective sense-objects ), the reflection ( consisting of discrimination between the permanent and the impermanent ), along with japa and the practice of reaching the total-inner-silence ( Samadhi )-these, perform with care----with care---- Bhaja Govindam------repeat 1st slokam again in chorus.

Bhaja Govindam------------------[repeat the 1st slokam] "Wealth  is  calamitous,"thus reflect constantly: the truth is that there is no happiness at all to be got from it.  To the rich, there is fear even from one's own son.  This is the way with wealth everywhere.  Seek Govinda-----

Bhaja Govindam----------------------(Repeat 1st slogam) Very  readily  one  indulges  in  carnal  pleasures; later on, alas,  come diseases  of  the  body.  Even  though  in the world  the ultimate  end  ( saranam )  is death,  even then  human  leaves  not  their  sinful  behaviour. Geyam  Gita  nama  sahasram Dheyam   Sripati  rupam  ajasram. Neyam  Sajjan  sange  Cittam Deyam  Dina  janaya  Ca  Vittam. The Bhagavad Gita and Sahasranamam are to be chanted; always the form of the Lord of Lakshmi is to be meditated upon; the mind is to be led towards the company of the good; wealth is to be distributed to [ shared with ] the needy. Kamam  Krodham  Lobham  Moham Tyaktva  tmanam  Pasyati  Soham Atmajnana-Vihna  Mudha- Ste  Pacyante  Narakanigudhah. Leaving desire, anger, greed, and delusion, the seeker sees in the self,  "He am I". They are fools who have no Self-knowledge, and they [consequently], as captives in hell, are tortured. THE YOGI  WHO WEARS  BUT   A GODADI/ RUGS, [SHAWL  MADE UP OF PIECES OF CLOTH REJECTED BY OTHERS, PICKED UP FROM THE STREETS AND STITCHED TOGETHER, IS CALLED THE GODADI ] WHO WALKS  THE PATH THAT IS BEYOND MERIT AND DEMERIT, WHOSE MIND IS JOINED IN PERFECT YOGA WITH ITS GOAL, REVELS [IN GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS] -AND LIVE THEREAFTER--AS A CHILD OR AS A MADMAN. Again birth, again  death,  and  again  lying  in mother's womb --this samsare  [life] process  is very hard to cross over----------- Save me, Murari (O Destroyer of Mura ) through thy Infinite Kindness. SLOGAM-20. Bhagavadgita  kincidadhita, Ganga  Jalalavaknika  Pita. Sakrdapi  Yena  Murari Samarca, Kriyate  Tasya  Yamena  Na  Carca. To one who has studied the Bhagavad Gita even a little, who has sipped at least a drop of Ganges-water, who has worshipped at least once Lord Krishna [Murari ], there is no discussion[quarrel ] with YAMA, THE LORD OF DEATH. BHAJA  GOVINDAM  BHAJA GOVINDAM.

SLOGAM:-18. Sura  Mandir  Taru  Mula Nivasah Sayya  Bhutalam  Ajinam  Vasah Sarva  Parigraha  Bhoga  Tyagah Kasya  Sukham  Na  Karoti  Viragah. Sheltering in temples, under some trees, sleeping on the naked ground, wearing a deerskin, and thus renouncing all idea of possession and thirst to enjoy, to whom will not dispassion[VAIRAGYA] BRING HAPPINESS?

SLOGAM:-17. Kurute  Ganga  Sagar  Gamanam Vrata  Paripalanam  Athava  Danam Jnana  Vihinah  Sarva  Matena Bhajati Na Muktim  Janma  Satena. Kurute = goes to pilgrimage, Ganga sagar gamanam = to where the Ganges meets the ocean, Vrata parilalanam = observes the vows, Athava = or, Danam [krute] = distributes gifts away, Jnana vihinah = devoid of experience of truth, Sarva matena = according to all schools of thought, Muktim = release, Na = not, Bhajati = [he] gains, Janma satena = even in hundred lives. One may, in pilgrimage, go to where the Ganges  meets the ocean, called the Gangasagara, or observe vows, or distribute gifts in charity. If he is devoid of first hand experience of Truth, according to all schools of thought, he gains no release, even in a hundred lives.

Agre  Vahnih  Prsthe  Bhanuh Ratrau  Cubukasamarpitajanuh karatalabhiksarutalavasah Tadapi  Na  Muncatyasapasah.K Agre = in front, Vahnih = the fire, Prasthe = at the back, Bhanuh = the sun, Ratrau = at night, Cubuka  samarpit Javauh =with[his] knees held to [his] chin [he sits], Karatal  bhiks = alms in [his own] scooped palm [he receives], Tarutalavasah = under the shelter of the tree[he lives], Tadapi = and yet, Na - never, Muncat = spares[leaves], Asapasah = noose of desires. In front of the fire, at the back of the sun, late at night he sits with his knees held to his chin; he receives alms in his own scooped palm and lives under the shelter of some tree, and yet the noose of desires spares him not!

SLOGAM:-15. Angam  Galitam  Palitam  Mundam Dasanavihinam  Jatam  Tundam Vrddho  yati  Grahitva  Dandam Tadapi  Na  Muncaty  asapindam. Angam  =  the body, Galitam  =   [has been ] worn out, Palitam  =  has turned grey, Mundam  =  the hair [ of the head], Dasavavihinam  =  toothless, Jatam  =  has become, Tundam  =  mouth, Vrddho  =  the old man, Yati  =  moves[goes] out, Grahitva  =  having taken [leaning on], Dandam  =  staff[walking stick], Tadapi  =  even then, Na  =  never, Muncaty  =   leaves, ASAPINDAM  =  The bundle of desires. Bhaja govindam  =  seek govinda. The body has become worn out. The head has turned grey. The mouth has become toothless. The old man moves about leaning on his staff /stick. Even then he leaves not the bundle of his desires. Seek govinda again.

SLOGAM:-14. JATILO  MUNDI  LUNCIT  KESAH  KASAYA  AMBAR  BAHUKRTA   VESAH PASYANU  API  CA NA PASYATI  MUDHO HY  UDARA  NIMITTAM  BAHUKRTA  VESAH. JATILA = One ascetic with matted locks, MUNDI = One with shaven head, LUNCIT  KESAH  =  One with hairs pulled out one by one, KASAYA  AMBAR  BAHUKRATA VESAH  =  One parading with ochre robes, PASYANU  API  CA = Through seeing, NA = Never, PASYAT = Sees, MUDHO = A fool, HI = Indeed, UDARA  NIMITTAM  =  For belly's sake, BAHUKTRT  VESAH  =  These different disguises or apparels, BHAJA GOVINDAM,  =Seek govinda. One ascetic with matted locks [jada], one with shaven head, one with hairs pulled out one by one, another parading in his ochre [kavi], robes [wearing cloths], :- these are fools who, though seeing, do not see, Indeed, these different disguises or apparels are only for their belly's sake. ]Seek Govinda]

SLOGAM:-13. KA TE KANTA  DHANAGATACINTA VATULA KIM TAVA NASTI NIYANTA TRIJAGATI SAJJANASANGATIREKA BHAVATI BHAVARNAVATARANE NOUKA. KA = Where is, TE = Your, KANTA = Wife, [KA - Where], DHANAGATA = Pertaining to wealth, CINTA = Worry, VATULA = O Distracted one!, KIM = Is there, TAVA = To you, NA  ASSTI = NOT, NIYANTA = The ordainer of rules [one who ordains or commands ], TRIJAGATI = In the three worlds, SAJJANA = Of the good, SANGATIR = Association [the association -with-good], EKA = Alone, BHAVATI = Becomes [can serve as], BHAV    ARNAVA  TARANE = To cross the sea of change [birth and death ], NAUKA = The boat, Bhaja govindam--------------[ seek govinda ] O DISTRACTED ONE! WHY WORRY ABOUT WIFE, WEALTH, ETC,? IS THERE NOT FOR YOU THE ONE WHO COMMANDS? IN THE THREE WORLDS IT IS THE ASSOCIATION  WITH GOOD PEOPLE ALONE THAT CAN SERVE AS A BOAT TO CROSS THE SEA OF CHANGE [ BIRTH AND DEATH ].

SLOGAM:-12. DINAYAMINYAU  SAYAM  PRATAH SISIRAVASANTAU  PUNARAYATAH KALAH  KRIDATI  GACCHATYAYUH TADAPI  NA  MUNCATYASAVAYUH. DINAYAMINYAU = Day and night, SAYAM = Dusk, PRATAH = Dawn, SISIRAVASANTAU = Winter and spring, PUNARAYATAH = Again come [and depart], KALAH = Time, KRIDATI = Sports,[Play] GACCHATYAYUH = Ebb away [goes away], life [breath], TATAPI = And yet, NA = Not, MUNCATYASAVAYUH = Leaves the guest of desire. Day and night, dawn and dusk, winter and spring, again and again come [and depart]. Time sports [plays] and life goes away.  And yet, one leaves not the guest of desires. Seek, Govinda.

SLOGAM:-11. Ma  Kuru  Dhanajanayauvanagarvam, Harati  Nimesatkalah  Sarvam, Mayamayamidamakhilam  Buddhva, Brahmapadam  Tvam  Pravisa  Viditva. Ma = do not, Kuru = take, Dhan = in possession, Jan = in the people, Yauvan  =  in youth, Garvam =  pride, Harati = loots away [takes away ], Nimesat  = in a moment, Kalah = the time, Sarvam = all these, Mayamaya  =  full of illusory nature, Id = this, Akilam = all, Buddhva = after knowing, Brahmapadam  = in the state of Lord, Tvam = you, Pravisa = enter into, Viditva =after reaizing. Take no pride in your possession, in the people [ at your command ], in the youthfulness [ that you have ]. Time loots away all these in a moment. Leaving aside all these, after knowing their illusory nature, realize the state Brahman [Lord] and enter into it.

SLOGAM:-10. VAYASI  GATE  KAH  KAMA  VIKARAH SUSKE  NIRE  KAH  KASARAH KSHINE  VITTE  KAH  PARIVARO JNATE  TATTVE  KAH  SAMSARAH. VAYASE  GATE  =  When the age [youthfulness] has passed, KAH  =  Where is, KAMA VIKARAH = Lust and its play?, SUSKE NIRE = When water is evaporated [dried up], KAH = Where is, KASARAH = The Lake?, KSHINE VITTE= When the wealth is reduced , KAH = Where is, PARIVAR = The retinue?, JNATE TATTVE = When the Truth is Realised, KAH =Where is, SAMSARH =  The Life? When the age [youthfulness] has passed, where is lust and its play? When water is evaporated , Where is the Lake? When Wealth is Reduced, Where is the Retinue? When the Truth is Realized, Where is Life?

SLOGAM:-9. SATSANGATVE  NISSANGATVAM NISANGATVE  NIRMOHATVAM NIRMOHATVE  NISCALATVAM NISCALARVE  JIVANMUKTIH. SATSANGATVE  =  THROUGH THE COMPANY OF THE GOOD, NISSANGATVAM  =  THERE ARISES NON ATTACHMENT,  NISSANGTVE  =  THROUGH NON ATTACHMENT, NIRMOHATVAM  =  THERE ARISES FREEDOM FROM DELUSION, NIRMOHATVE  =  THROUGH THE FREEDOM FROM DELUSION, NISCALATVAM  =  IMMUTABLE  REALITY, NISCALATVE  =  THROUGH THE IMMUTABLE REALTY, JIVANMUKTIH  =  COMES THE STATE OF LIBERATED IN  LIFE. BHAJA GOVINDAM BHAJA GOVINDAM----------------(REPEAT THE 1ST SLOGAM.) SEEK GOVIDA. Trough the company of  of the good, there arises non-attachment; through non-attachment, there arises freedom from delusion; when there is a freedom from delusion, there is the immutable reality; on experiencing immutable reality, there comes the state of liberated in life.

KA = WHO IS,  TE  =  YOUR,  KANTA = WIFE,  KA  =  WHO IS,  TE  =  YOUR,  PUTRAH  =  SON,  SAMSARA AY = THIS LIFE,  ATIVA  =  SUPREMELY,  VICITRAH  =  (INDEED) WONDERFUL,  KASYA  =  OF WHOM,  TWAM  =  ARE YOU,  KA  =  WHO ARE YOU,  KUTA =  FROM WHERE,  TAV =  YOU,  AYATAH =  HAVE COME,  TATTVAM  =  OF THAT  TRUTH,  CINTAYA  =  THINK,  TADIHA  =  THAT HAVE ALONE,  BHRATAH  =  O BROTHER,  BHAJA  =  SEEK,  GOVINDAM == GOVINDA[LORD] WHO IS YOUR WIFE? WHO IS YOUR SON?  SUPREMELY WONDERFUL INDEED IS THIS LIFE. OF WHOM ARE YOU? FROM WHERE HAVE YOU COME? O BROTHER,  THINK  OF THAT TRUTH HERE. Intelligent enquiry is the only antidote for the follies of delusion. The method of enquiry to be adopted is being indicated here. Acharya Sankara asks us to enquire: who is your wife? who is your son? On analysis, we shall find that the bel
