---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------/
It is very difficult to divert the mind to higher, superior values without--(1) discarding blind attachment to silly things, (2) developing detachment to objects.

But it is not correct to give too much importance to detachment to objects as seen in Buddhism, this may block the interest in life  and enthusiasm of the seeker.

Look at Vedanta Acharya's sharp observation  --1. extraordinary  attachment to objects, 2. unhealthy outward look . Acharya detach the seekers from the  above two and directs them to lead a life of service to the world, and to develop healthy inward look.

Through out the life, spending valuable time for body worship, earn wealth for the comforts of the body,  the mankind is immersed  in this meaningless activities. Pity, and how sad it is? Is this body ever remain in the same form? Today's youthfulness and skills never be same tomorrow, old age and weakness shortly follow, within short time and without any delay body becomes useless, remember this!

Live for body and its pleasures is the Samskaram of Asuras [demons].

Even wife is afraid of her husband's dead body, soon. Hence live with the awareness,
this is the healthy life, and is the way to reduce sufferings of life.
THIS IS THE DHARMAM [LAW/RULE/DUTY] OF BODY,SAREERA DHARMAM .
